Rapper Chinx dead: Rob Kardashian leads tributes as member of French Montana's Coke Boys killed 'in drive-by shooting'

The star was reportedly shot multiple times and sadly died while another man is in a critical condition

Celebrities have paid tribute to rapper Chinx Drugz today after he was killed in New York in the early hours of this morning.
The star - real name Lionel Pickens - was a member of French Montana's group Coke Boys, and was well known for his hit song I'm a Coke Boy, which features French.
According to reports, Chinx was killed following a drive-by shooting in Queens boulevard at around 4am.
He was reportedly shot several times, while his 27-year-old passenger was hit twice in the back, and is now fighting for his life in Jamaica hospital.

The rapper was driving a silver Porsche at the time.
His management team confirmed the news on Instagram, writing: "It is with a heavy heart that The Legion Media Group and 4 Kings Management announce the passing of Lionel 'Chinx' Pickens this morning. He was 31."
Meanwhile his publicist Chanel Rae described him as "one of the most talented, professional, and determined rappers this industry had to offer" in a statement, adding: "Furthermore, he was a friend."
Stars have come together to pay tribute to te 31-year-old musician, lead by Kim Kardashian's brother Rob, who tweeted: "Rest in peace Chinx ,,,, gone way too soon."
He added: "Another brother gone without reaching his full potential :(."

He was friends with French Montana, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Lil Kim

Sway Calloway added: "We want to send our condolences to the family of Chinx. He was always real with me and excited about what was next with his music. #RIPChinx."
Rapper Tony Yayo added: "Rip Chinx gone but not forgotten."
Chinx previously said he started rapping at school, and it sparked his enthusiasm to carry it on into a successful career.
"I started rapping at the table in junior high school for fun with the homies and then by 9th grade is when I started taking music seriously.
"At that point is when I started investing my street money into my studio time and trying to find my sound."
He was best known for his appearances on the Coke Boys mixtapes and the Cocaine Riot 2 mixtape series.
