Chief Olusgun Obasanjo, former president, recommends way forward for the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in governing a new Nigeria.
Ex-president through his think-tank group, examined critical areas of the economy and submitted a review to Buhari.
The group which was launched four months ago under the Centre for Human Security of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library examined five key areas of education, power, the economy, security and infrastructure.
Mallam Garba Shehu, Buhari’s Director of Media and Publicity, told reporters that Kalu Idika Kalu, Vice Chairman of the Committee and former Minister of Finance, presented volumes of the report of the committee to the president-elect during a short ceremony held behind closed doors.
Shehu also stated that ex Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria, Dr. Christopher Kolade who was head of the power committee, gave different stages of the planned power sector development plan to comprise, short term, medium term, long term solutions.
